And yet a case was reported in the literature in 2010 , in which the woman reported these exact symptoms after a car crash. Contrary to her claims, tests suggested the woman could in fact remember material from the day before. However, the researchers dont think she was a faker. Rather they think she had a form of psychogenic amnesia .
